Student Internships
• Before you start
Many universities except their students to have completed an internship before they start studying. SWB offers basic and pre-study internships in electrical engineering and metal engineering, as well as in logistics and commercial areas. This will help you to find out what you want to do during your studies.
• During
Whether specialized internship or practical semester: SWB offers you a change from the lecture hall. Regardless of whether energy and water supply, process engineering, business management or group communications: We can grant many insights into the way things are done.
• On the final straight
The final hurdle before the finish line: Diploma, Bachelor or Master thesis. Would you like to write an outstanding final thesis relating to practical experience? Do you have ideas that would suit our company? Or are you open to our suggestions? Contact us with your ideas and we will be pleased to show you what we have to offer.

Entry and Qualification Year (Einstiegs- und Qualifizierungsjahr - EQJ)
Have you applied many times and not yet been accepted for a vocational training position?
No reason to despair. In 2004, the Entry and Qualification Year (Einstiegs- und Qualifizierungsjahr – EQJ) was introduced in Germany. This provides you with the opportunity to gather professional experience and references in one of our vocational training professions for one year.
Important: Check with the Federal Employment Service whether you fulfil the requirements for the entry and qualification year (EQJ).
