An Introduction to the SWB Group

The SWB Group is one of the largest companies in the Bonn/Rhein-Sieg region with about 2,400 employees at its locations in Bonn, Siegburg and Adenau, and consolidated annual sales of over 570 million euros. The SWB Group is wholly-owned by the City of Bonn.

The Group’s subsidiaries are active in local public transport, energy and water supply, and waste management. The SWB Group supplies approximately 800,000 households in southern North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) and northern Rhineland-Palatinate with drinking water through the Wahnbachtalsperrenverband (WTV).

The following companies are part of the SWB Group: SWB Energie und Wasser,  SWB Bus und Bahn, SWB Mobil, SWB Service, SWB Verwertung, EGM (Gesellschaft für Energie und Gebäudemanagement) and SWB Regional in Adenau. In addition, the SWB Group also has shareholdings in many other companies in the region.
